Mokonuiarangi Smith is a performer of Te Arawa, Ngāti Kahungunu, Tuwharetoa and Ngāti Porou as well as of European descent. A recent graduate of the Ecole International de Théâtre Jaques Lecoq in Paris, he is interested in helping revive the Māori language and cultural practices through the medium of the performing arts.
