Jo Malcolm

Joe is a highly revered elder of Te Arawa and has agreed to be the Kaumatua for this project. Joe Malcolm was always acknowledged by Hirini Melbourne as the forerunner of the renaissance of Taonga Puoro. He is considered an expert in and has recently completed  his PhD on Kapa Haka.

Joe will be leading the Kapa Haka element of Green Fire Islands.
